Black and White With ColorWe can convert your pictures to Black and White and then keep a touch of the original color to give you a creative effect that really stands out. We follow the process as described earlier for converting your pictures to Black and White and then select the one or two points of focus to restore the original color. This produces a stunning Black and White with Color effect that when done with wedding photographs , for example; could keep the bouquet and corsage in color with the rest in Black and white. Our charges for this process are dependent on the complexity and amount of detail that would be required to select the colors. We will give you an estimate on the cost before we proceed with your order. This process can be used to highlight and bring attention to specific portions of your photograph. It produces a modern look and makes your Photo Art on Canvas stand out.

Some Examples of  Black and White with a Touch of Color

Here we were able to take the original photograph that contained a lot of blues and convert it to a Black and White and then maintain the blue tones by keeping the color in the jeans. This produced a modern look and our couple loved their photo on canvas.

In the wedding photograph we kept the flowers in color and converted the rest of the picture to Black and White. This separated the red flowers from the red dress and really made this Photograph pop!

This photograph was taken with an iPhone and brought to us in full color. The customer wanted to bring more focus to the little boy playing the trumpet and asked us to work our magic. We felt that this would be a perfect choice for the Black and White with Color effect. We cropped the image for better composition, did the conversion to black and white and then kept the original color of the trumpet and the jeans. That definitely brought focus to the little boy playing the street in New Orleans.

The photograph of the St. Augustine Lighthouse takes on the look of Old and New by keeping the red at the top of the tower and the red on the roof. This simple change gives this photograph a completely new look!
